The Saddle Doctors family - Mike, Sue, Tammie, and Maddie.
Sue has been very much involved in equestrian activities since she was a child and became a BHSAI IN 1976.
She was County Road Safety officer for the BHS for several years and spent 18 years on the local Pony Club committee with 4 of them as District Commissioner.
Sue is a registered Master Saddle Fitter, she is also a lecturer and examiner in their Saddle fitting training courses as well as being on the executive committee and was President from February 2017 till September 2018.
She also has been very much involved in the MSFC courses and their development in Holland and is an honorary member.
Tammie joined the business in 1998 running the retail shop CH Brown & Son in Oxford's covered market which had been in the family for 43 years but closed its doors in September 2017.
After having a family she is now a full time Qualified SMS Saddle fitter and has also completed the SMS Bridle fitting course.
In her younger years Tammie was a keen member of the Pony Club competing in all spheres but in 2005 started to concentrate on Dressage and has competed up to advanced medium level.
Mike is a Master Saddler and past president of the Society of Master Saddlers.
One of the first members awarded the qualification and title of qualified and registered saddle fitter when introduced in 1995.
With well over 40 yrs experience in saddlery, Mike was involved in saddle development with several manufacturers and in development of training courses run by the SMS.
Mike has been involved in the M.S.F.C. courses and their development in Holland and is an honorary member.
Even though semi retired, Mike still has a wealth of knowledge to offer the team and continues to use his design/technical skills to further a strong knowledgable business.
